Today's session
🔇 Silent by design. No jumping, no skipping, no impact. All of this works on a mat on a second floor at 6 AM without one thud reaching the flat below.
Daily skill practice — every day, including rest days
One easy set of each. Never to failure — two reps in the tank, always.
Today's food — Rujuta rhythm
Habit rungs — only what you've unlocked
Everything saves itself as you tick — the chip at the top says Saved ✓ when it's done. Hit Log this day to commit the day to your streak and heatmap. Export backup is optional insurance, not something you need to remember.
Your kit
12 kg kettlebell
5 kg pair
3 kg pair
2 kg pair
Pull-up bar
Bands
Mat
A genuinely good build kit. The bell carries your lower body, the bar carries your back, the light dumbbells carry volume and shoulders.
Making light weights heavy
The whole trick with home equipment. A 12 kg bell builds real muscle for a long time if you keep making the same weight harder. Work down this list before you ever buy heavier:
Tempo — 3 sec lowering, 1 sec pause, drive up.
Pause at the hardest point — bottom of the squat, bottom of the push-up.
More reps — 12 → 15 → 18, then add load.
One side at a time — 12 kg on one leg feels like 24.
Less rest — 60s → 45s → 30s.
Longer range — feet-elevated push-ups, deficit lunges off a book.
Stack it — 12 kg bell + a 5 kg dumbbell = 17 kg.
The rule: every week, one thing from that list goes up. Only one. Go up when you finish all 3 sets at the top of the rep range with clean form and two reps still in the tank — then write it down. Six months of one small increase a week compounds into a body you don't recognise.
Buy one thing, eventually: around month 3–4 your legs outgrow 12 kg. A single 16 kg kettlebell is the only purchase this plan ever asks of you.

How a skill actually arrives
Nobody wakes up able to do a pull-up. You climb to it one stage at a time, and each stage has a graduation test so you're never guessing whether you're ready.
The daily rule — "greasing the groove": one easy set of your current stage every single day, including rest days and walk days. Never to failure, always two reps in the tank. Frequent and easy beats occasional and brutal, because a pull-up is a skill before it's a strength feat — your nervous system needs reps, not wreckage.
And hang, daily. Most people who can't do a pull-up fail on grip and shoulder position, not back strength. A dead hang fixes both, costs 30 seconds, and can be done in a doorway while the kettle boils — two or three times a day if you walk past the bar. It also decompresses a spine that spends nine hours at a desk, which you'll feel within a week.
Tap a stage to set where you are. The Today tab then shows you exactly what to practise.
🔵 The push-up ladder
Honest timeline: from stage 1 to a full push-up from your toes is typically 8–14 weeks of daily practice. Losing weight makes it arrive faster — every kilo down is a kilo you no longer have to press.
🟡 The pull-up ladder
Honest timeline: a first unassisted pull-up from a standing start is typically 5–9 months for a woman beginning from zero. It is the hardest thing in this plan and the most worth having. Two things make it arrive: hang every day, and lose the 15 kg — you're not just getting stronger, you're getting lighter, and both sides of that equation move at once.
The four Rujuta rules — the whole book in four lines
1 · Never wake up to tea or coffeeEat within 15 minutes of opening your eyes — a banana, or 4–5 soaked almonds with 2 dates. Then chai, whenever you like. Why: caffeine on an empty stomach spikes acidity and hunger, and sets up the 11 AM crash that makes you eat badly at lunch.
2 · Eat every two hoursNever let more than 2–3 hours pass without real food. Small, frequent, homemade. Why: this is the rule that kills the 4 PM biscuit. You don't fight the craving — you never let it start.
3 · Eat more when you're more activeLunch is your biggest meal, breakfast solid, dinner the lightest of the day.
4 · Finish your last meal at least 2 hours before sleepingDinner by 8:00 PM, lights out by 11:00.
Your hour-by-hour eating day lives on the Today tab, where you can tick each meal off as you go.
My honest verdict on this method
You asked directly, so here it is directly.
It will work for you — and it's the right frame to build on. Not because the science is airtight, but because the thing that has probably failed you before is not knowledge, it's adherence, and this method is built for adherence in an Indian household in a way almost nothing else is. It removes the fear of rice, ghee, mango and full-fat curd. It forbids starving. It uses food your kitchen already makes. You could still be doing this in twenty years — and a mediocre plan you follow for twenty years beats a perfect one you abandon in March.
Where it's weak, plainly:
• It never accounts for amount. The rules are permissive about type and completely silent about quantity. Ghee, nuts, coconut, ladoos and six eating occasions are all calorie-dense. Followed loosely, you can eat "perfectly" and not lose a kilo. This is the single real risk, and it's where 15 kg can hide.
• Some of the mechanism is overstated. Eating every two hours does not raise your metabolism — meal frequency is close to neutral in controlled research. Ghee does not burn fat. These claims aren't harmful, but if you believe them you may add without noticing.
• It's low on protein by default. Traditional Indian eating is carb-forward. For someone doing a build programme in a deficit, protein is the one thing that decides whether you end up strong-and-smaller or just smaller.
Will it add problems? Only in one scenario: if "nothing is banned" quietly becomes "everything unlimited." It won't make you unhealthy — nothing in it is unsafe. It could make you stall. That's the failure mode to watch, and it's fixable in a week.
So: keep the frame, add two amendments. That's what the two cards below are.
Amendment 1 · protein, deliberately
Nothing to count. Just make sure protein is present at every single eating occasion, not assumed.
Breakfast: add egg, paneer, curd or sprouts to the poha/upma/dosa. · Lunch: dal AND curd, not dal alone. · 4 PM: roasted chana, sprouts, paneer cubes, a boiled egg. · Dinner: dal, paneer, egg or chicken with the khichdi.
This is the one thing this plan adds to the book, and it's the difference between losing 15 kg and looking deflated, versus losing 15 kg and looking built. Protein is what your body eats instead of your muscle when it's short of energy. Give it enough and it takes the fat instead.
Amendment 2 · the three-week rule
No counting, ever — unless the scale is flat.
If your weight hasn't moved in three consecutive Sunday weigh-ins (and you've held your rungs), the answer is almost never the food list. It's the amount. In that case, for one week only:
1. Halve the ghee and the nuts — the two most calorie-dense things you're eating without noticing.
2. Keep the plate shape at lunch and dinner: half vegetables, quarter protein, quarter rice/roti.
3. Check the 4 PM meal hasn't quietly become a full meal.
One week. Then back to normal. That's the entire correction mechanism, and you may never need it.
What stays · what goes
✓ Stays — and she'd insist on it
Rice. White rice, at lunch, without guilt. · Ghee — 1–2 tsp a day. · Curd and chaas after lunch. · Seasonal local fruit, whole. · Homemade sweets on real occasions — a festival ladoo is food, not a crime. · Coconut, groundnut, jaggery, seasonal vegetables, dal, idli, dosa, poha, upma, khichdi. · Full-fat milk. Nothing skimmed, nothing "lite."
✗ Goes — this is where your 15 kg lives
Anything from a packet. Biscuits, chips, namkeen packs, instant noodles, breakfast cereal, "digestive" and "diet" biscuits, protein bars. · Liquid sugar — packaged juice, soft drinks, bottled shakes. · Bakery — cake, cream biscuits, puffs. · Skipping meals — the most fattening thing you can do. · Late-night grazing after the kitchen closes.
The line is not sugar. The line is packaged. Sweet chai at 4 PM with real poha is fine. A packet of biscuits eaten standing at the counter is not — and it isn't the sugar, it's that it isn't food and it doesn't fill you.

Each square is one day, shaded by the points you earned. Hover any square for the detail. You are not chasing a wall of bright green — you are chasing "no two dark squares side by side." That's the only pattern that matters.
The full arc — what changes, and when week by week
Not a promise about a number on a scale — it's what consistency does, in roughly the order it does it. Almost all of the good stuff arrives long before March. Your Today page shows you where you are on this arc each morning, so this is here for when you want the whole map at once.

Sunday morning, before eating, after the bathroom. Weight, waist at the navel, one photo in the same spot and light. The photos feel pointless for six weeks and then become the most convincing thing you own — and week 1's photo can only be taken once.
Milestone ladder
The three rules that outrank everything
1 · Never miss twiceOne missed day is life. Two missed days is a new habit forming — the wrong one. Miss once, and the next day is non-negotiable.
2 · The floor version always countsWarm-up + one single round. Ten minutes. Worth 2 points, keeps your streak alive. There is no such thing as "I didn't have time."
3 · Never judge the day by the scaleJudge it by whether you did the thing. The scale is a weekly report card, not a daily verdict.
The night-before ritual
Before bed: mat on the floor, workout clothes on top of it, bell and dumbbells beside it.
You're deleting the three seconds of decision-making that kill the habit at 6 AM. Future-you at 6 AM has almost no willpower — so present-you at 10 PM does her work for her.
Highest-return instruction in the plan. Takes forty seconds.
Honest expectations
• Sustainable fat loss is 0.4–0.6 kg a week. Fifteen kilos is about 7 months.
• Weeks 1–3 may drop fast. That's water. Then it slows. Everyone quits here.
• Some weeks the number goes up. Only the monthly trend means anything.
• Because you're building muscle, the scale moves slower and your body changes faster. That's the right trade — it's why the waist and the photos matter more than the number.
• Any existing condition or medication — run this past your doctor before the build phase starts on 12 Sep.
This was never about whether you have discipline — you hold down a demanding job, run a home and raise a child. You have plenty. It's about whether you've ever pointed it at yourself.
Fifteen kilos is the side effect. The discipline is the prize.
